Traditional MAG portal setup

Find the MAG MAC address
Open Settings or System Information and locate the device MAC. Traditional portal MAC addresses often begin with 00:1A:79.

Send the MAC privately
Send the MAC to KroozTV live chat and request the MAG portal URL. Do not post the MAC publicly.

Open Portal settings
Go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals.

Name the portal
Enter Krooz TV as the portal name.

Enter the supplied portal URL
Use only the portal address sent by KroozTV support. The Xtream server URL is not automatically the same as the MAG portal.

Save and reboot
Restart the MAG box and allow the portal to load.
When the Device Runs Android
Android-based MAG models
Some newer set-top boxes run Android rather than the traditional MAG portal firmware. Only those Android models can install the Krooz TV MATE, IBO Player Pro or Krooz TV OTT APKs.
Use each customer’s own activation details
The values below are safe placeholders. Replace YOUR_KROOZ_USERNAME and YOUR_KROOZ_PASSWORD with the values in that customer’s private KroozTV activation email. Never publish a real username, password or complete M3U URL in a public knowledgebase article.

MAG troubleshooting
✓ Portal loading error: verify the portal URL and confirm the MAC registered with support.
✓ Authentication failed: check account status and ask support to refresh the MAC binding.
✓ Black screen after portal load: restart the box and router, then test Ethernet.
✓ Wrong timezone or EPG: correct the device timezone before refreshing the portal.
✓ Do not factory-reset the box until the portal details and MAC have been saved.
